The modern-day flagship line is known as the Pelikan Souveran, consisting of the M300, M400, M600, M800 and the M1000 series pens with your choice of fountain pen, rollerball, ballpoint or pencil. Pens with vermeil embellishments, called Toledo, are manufactured in the sizes of (new-style) M600 and M800, and they're respectively referred to as M700 and M900. Pelikan is notable for manufacturing many of their pens using Cellulose acetate, instead of the more modern plastics used by most other major pen makers.

Pelikan continues its rich history of artistic craftsmanship and technological excellence, releasing several new limited and special editions, including the more than aptly named Majesty, the Niagara Falls, and the breathtaking Evolution Of Script. Most recently, two new collections reinforce Pelikan's commitment to ongoing innovation, and continued use of the widest possible range of colours and materials: the special edition Sahara, part of Pelikan's Natrual Beauties series, with the major portion of the barrel being carved metal; and the first modified addition to the Souveran series in 57 years, the all new Ductus, which is merely special.
